July 2024 I will ride my second Ride to End ALZ South Carolina. As with all I Do It For Foundation events, I am riding in memory of Michael T. McCaskill.This ride is a unique 255-mile, cross-state journey raising funds to support research to end Alzheimer's disease.
I am also riding to honor my mother-in-law, Sharon, who is bravely facing the journey into a future with this disease. I am riding this event in her honor. I'm not a doctor. I'm not a researcher. There is not much I can do directly to perhaps change that future... but I can pedal a bicycle mindlessly for hours on end, and that can help raise money to support the doctors and researchers.
Perhaps together we can speed up scientific progress toward better treatments and prevention. Will you join me? Thank you for donating and cheering me on!
